Chicago House Wrecking Catalogs on CD
CD republication only from VLR! A rare collection of the Chicago House Wrecking Company Catalogs of over 100 years ago.
Of particular interest is the 1902 catalog - 230+ illustrated pages fully of all types of surplus building materials complete with pricing.
Every page is a surprise, from nuts, bolts and pipe fittings, to all sorts of millwork, unusual tools
and equipment. Browsing thru the catalog we saw items for the farm, ice cream tubs, a zinc church
statue, time recorders, some very unique lighting fixtures, copying press, vault doors, school and
church bells, ice machines, safes, fire apparatus (Fire wagon outfits starting @ $200). The list is
endless.
For those with a taste for the unusual, this is an excellent addition to any collectors library
of vintage catalogs
