Curtis Botanical Floral Image Scrapbook on CD
CD republication by VLR, the Curtis Botanical Floral Image Scrapbook.
The Botanical Magazine, or Flower-Garden Displayed, is an illustrated publication which began in 1787. The longest running botanical magazine, it is widely referred to by the subsequent name Curtis's Botanical Magazine.
The magazine is the greatest serial of botanical illustration yet produced, the consistent quality of the journal's plates and authority make this the most widely cited work of its kind. The hand-coloured plates were a labor intensive process.
The series included an extensive collection
of over 1050 hand colored plates, which we present here in an easy to use flip page album on a Gift Quality CD. View the pages or click
on the thumbnails for a full screen view of each beautiful color plate.
You can simply enjoy the many images, or feel free to print and use the images for all types of school or craft projects.
