Hodgson gcompted with such well known names as Aladdin, Gordon-Van Tine, Sears and Montgomery Ward. With the help of the railroad, it was easy to deliver there products right across the USA. The Hodgson was actually better known in many parts of Europe as well as Canada, were much of there production was shipped.
