Antique Treasure
Maps Of the USA on CD
The California Gold Rush took place almost exclusively in Northern California from 1848–1855. It began on January 24, 1848, when gold was
discovered at Sutter's Mill in Coloma. News of the discovery soon spread, resulting in some 300,000 people coming to California from the
rest of the United States and abroad. San Francisco grew from a tiny hamlet of tents to a boomtown, and roads, churches, schools and other
towns were built. New methods of transportation developed as steamships came into regular service and railroads were built.
These maps are a great resource for historians, map lovers, and of course want to be treasure seekers.
The maps are provided to you in high resolution {22:1 scale} which allow you to zoom into selected areas, print or export the maps to other
