The Home Kindergarten Manual - Two Volumes - Over 950 pages. Originally published in 1921, these handbooks provide the education and character training of little children for parents and teachers.

The philosophy of the book is simple - The way to educate, is to build on the interests and capabilities of the child, and not what we think he ought to learn. Maybe the educational system should take a step back to the past, and review some of the tried and true methods to better learning.

Many of the articles and chapters were written by moms who also had training and successful experiences as a teacher.
