Unique gardening magazine! This monthly journal offered many handy

1916 Rennies Seed
Catalog
This was a Canadian company founded by William Rennie in 1870 and
carried on business for many years by his three sons, John, Robert
and Thomas Rennie. At one time this was one of the largest seed
house in Canada, surprisingly the company was started from a small
farm just outside of Toronto - Markham, Ontario was the home base
to this important Canadian agriculture business for many years.

1920 Rennies Seed

Catalog
Neat 58 page vintage seed catalog, features a few
color plates, but mostly beautiful line drawings. The companies
catalog was designed to serve both the needs of the home gardener
as well as the farmer.As a canadian seed supplier, the varieties
offered do well in Canada. Many unique (and lost?) strains of
seeds.

with the gardener, I have endeavoured, in my humble way,
to render myself useful both to the seedsman and gardener,
by giving brief directions for the management of a Kitchen
Garden, in such a way as is calculated to insure success.
